Rubbish Robots


This is a MUST DO activity this summer! So fun! I love the title of this activity because it is so fitting- all the things I used truly were rubbish just laying around my house, in the backs of drawers, etc. Your kids will love the creative process of finding things around your house to use, putting the robots together, and playing with them afterwards!




1. Supplies: Boxes of various sizes, tin foil, glue, scissors, RUBBISH!






2. Apply glue to the outside of each of your boxes.







3. Wrap tinfoil around boxes until they are completely covered (I left the orange juice cap on for a nose so you can leave some part of the box uncovered to add some character).






                  4. Embellish! You can make hair our of
                  pipe cleaners, screws, paper clips, etc.!
                  Let your kids go wild! I ended up using
                  a hot glue gun to attach most of the
                  embellishments.
