4th of July Muffin Tin




Around our house I am constantly asked if we can have a 'muffin tin lunch'. What a great way to make healthy food (and not so healthy food) fun to eat! And what better way to celebrate the fourth than to eat a flag muffin tin meal. There's not really a step by step to this meal. Just start with a small muffin tin that fits 12 muffins. Fill the top four tins with blue food and alternate red, white, and red food for the stripes of our muffin tin flag! Food ideas: Blue: blueberries, fruit snacks, blueberry yogurt; Red: strawberries, peppers, strawberry yogurt, pink marshmallows, fruit snacks; White: cottage cheese, mozzarella cheese, vanilla yogurt, cauliflower, pears/apples, marshmallows...
