1. Supplies: egg carton, paint, paintbrush, little household objects of varying colors.
2. Paint your egg carton (you could try 12 different colors- especially with older children. I just did two each of 6 colors).
3. Once the paint is dry, give your child the empty carton and the miscellaneous objects and watch their little minds and hands work!
*Remember to talk with your child during this activity. Label the colors as they put objects into the carton. Use words like 'inside, next to, between' to help them with those basic prepositional concepts!
